Bio

My name is Audra Guy and I teach English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

here at Gallman Elementary. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood

and Elementary Education from Newberry College as well as my Masters Degree +30

from Lander University, specializing in Elementary Education. I have taught ESOL for 8

years and I have previously taught Kindergarten for 14 years and First Grade for 5 years.

I presently teach students in grades 2nd - 5th  and help them to improve their English skills.

Each year I give the WIDA Test to all ESOL students at Gallman to determine their English

proficiency level.  The best part of teaching ESOL is being able to work with the same students

year after year and building relationships with them and their families.

I have been married to my husband, Arthur Guy, for 28 years and we live in Prosperity,

SC.  We have 2 great sons. Austin is 21 and graduates from Clemson University in

December 2017. Andrew is 19 and he attends Midlands Tech.  I love to garden,

scrapbook, and  shop online whenever possible!
