Subjects Taught

I was raised in Rock Hill, SC. I graduated from South Pointe High School in 2011 where I was a member of every choir and drama club possible. I always knew I wanted to have a career in the music field and I also knew I enjoyed working with children. From that, I decided Music Education was right for me. I went to college at Anderson University where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Music Education.

This is my 3rd year teaching music at Gallman Elementary. I hope that through coming to my class my students are able to gain an appreciation for all types of music. I do not expect all of them (or any of them, as awesome as it would be) to become famous musicians one day, but I do hope that they have fun and enjoy making music in a safe and encouraging environment while in my class! I love being able to see my students come out of their shells a little more each year and gain the confidence to perform for their peers and other audiences. I am so excited for another year of making music with the students at Gallman Elementary!
