Bio

"THIS IS MY HAPPY PLACE"

Hi!  My name is Rachel Mills and I am so happy to be Gallman Elementary School.  This is my happy place.  I teach special education.

I teach the students who need more step by step instruction on daily living skills and social skills.  English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies are instructed while addressing daily living and adaptive behavior.

Students learn best in an environment that is safe and familiar.

A teacher never stops learning. I mess up often, but I learn through these times.  I learn that my students depend on these times and need me to make mistakes, rethink my plan, and try again to become a better person and better teacher.
